Cogeco Cable Inc. rises to 9th place in the Corporate Knights’ The Future 40 Responsible Corporate Leaders in Canada ranking
Montréal, May 8, 2015 – Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX: CCA) is pleased to announce that it has been named to Corporate Knights’ The Future 40 Responsible Corporate Leaders in Canada for a second year in a row. In 2014, the company held the 24th spot in the highly regarded magazine’s ranking. This year, it rose to 9th place, a significant advancement for the Corporation in terms of corporate social responsibility.
Cogeco Cable Inc. was selected on the basis of its performance in relation to 12 indicators measuring social and environmental performance and corporate governance. This ranking takes into consideration organizations with two billion dollars or less in revenue, or with less than 2,000 employees in Canada, in 2013. The notable increase in the company’s ranking underscores its efforts in integrating the best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in its initiatives.
