Cogeco Cable now offers LCN HD
to its Digital Television customers in Québec
Montréal, December 14, 2009 — Cogeco Cable (TSX: CCA) today announced the addition LCN
HD to its High Definition (HD) line-up in Québec. This news channel is now offered in the majority of
the areas where Cogeco Cable offers Digital Cable and HD Television in Québec.
“Cogeco Cable is committed to enriching its customers’ HD Television viewing experience. The
addition of this popular channel to our Québec HD TV offering allows our viewers to discover the
outstanding quality of this technology. We continue to invest in this technology to assure our
customers have access to the most interesting and relevant HD programming in the market," noted

LCN HD (channel 519) features interviews, debates and complete news coverage every 15 minutes
of the day, all day.
To access this channel, subscribers of Cogeco Cable’s “Passport” digital package must pay the HD
Access Fee ($2.99 per month) and have a HD decoder.
