Trois-Rivières, January 19, 2016 – Cogeco Connexion is proud to announce that it is among the finalists at the Gala Radisson, an annual awards event presented by the Chambre de commerce et d’industries de Trois-Rivières, in the Entreprise de services à la personne (“Customer Services Company”) and Employeur de choix (“Employer of Choice”) categories. The finalists’ names were announced this morning at a news conference attended by several Trois-Rivières businesspeople, entrepreneurs and public figures.

“Cogeco Connexion is honoured to be among the companies which will be recognized as finalists at the prestigious Gala Radisson,” said Johanne Hinse, Vice President, Residential Sales, Programming & Community Relations, Cogeco Connexion. “We are delighted to have received nominations in two categories, especially Employer of Choice, since this nomination was prepared and submitted by our employees, on their own initiative. This acknowledgement on the part of our employees, which testifies to our focus on creating a healthy and welcoming environment, is something we are exceedingly proud of.”

The Chambre de commerce et d’industries de Trois-Rivières will present the 31st edition of the Gala Radisson on February 19, to honour outstanding companies in Trois-Rivières and celebrate success in the city’s business community. The awards ceremony is organized by a volunteer committee made up of local businesspeople, and an independent jury is entrusted with the task of confidentially studying all submissions received and then selecting the finalists, along with the eventual winners, in each category.
