Montréal, June 16, 2017 – Cogeco Connexion is honoured to have received the prestigious Best Canadian Legal Department Award, which was presented at today’s International General Counsel Awards ceremony as part of the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards in New York.
These annual awards recognize the world’s Best Legal, Intellectual Property and Tax Departments based on their performance over time.
The winners are selected according to different studies, surveys, rankings and recommendations. They are determined by 12 specialized jury panels of General Counsels and previous laureates, who conduct a rigorous evaluation of candidates based on their experience and market knowledge. Former recipients include Packers Plus Energy Services, Fiera Capital and Manulife.
Under the skilled direction of attorney Caroline Dignard, Vice President, Legal Affairs and Chief Privacy Officer, the team of Cogeco Connexion’s Legal Affairs has distinguished itself by its professionalism and commitment to doing whatever is required to better serve both its in-house and external clients.
