Cogeco Connexion Upgrades Its Network and Enhances Its Internet Services in Some Sectors of the Outaouais Region
Montreal, December 5th, 2017 — Cogeco Connexion is proud to announce that it is upgrading its high-speed Internet services in some sectors of Chelsea and Wakefield in the Outaouais region. The company is rolling out new uploading and downloading speeds on some of its residential Internet packages and, by the same token, launching its new high-speed unlimited UltraFibre 120 package for residential customers.
“Our residential customers stream audio and video contents, download files, and surf the web more than ever before. Online entertainment is undergoing exponential growth. This is reflected in our subscribers’ increased demand for higher Internet speeds,” explained Daniel Boisvert, Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation, Cogeco Connexion, adding: “We are proud of increasing the speeds of some of our packages at no additional cost, reiterating, in the process, our commitment to offering our customers the best possible online entertainment experience.”
Residential customers who subscribe to packages targeted by these changes already benefit from these increased speeds at no additional cost. With this, Cogeco Connexion now offers its customers improved technology allowing downloading speeds of up to 120 Mbps and uploading speeds of up to 10 Mbps (until now limited to 2 Mbps).
