Montréal, September 27, 2016Cogeco Connexion is proud to announce that it has executed a major fibre agreement with the Halton District School Board (HDSB) which serves public school students with-in all four municipalities of the Regional Municipality of Halton in southern Ontario: Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville. The HDSB has selected Cogeco Connexion – through a request for proposal process – to design, build and maintain a high-bandwidth connectivity solution, featuring GigE access for all HDSB schools. We are thrilled to embark on this journey and would like to thank them for their trust.”

“With the fundamental nature of education evolving at a faster pace than ever before, finding an affordable and reliable high-capacity network provider became a priority for the HDSB,” added Fern Pinho, Network Operations and Telecom Manager, Halton District School Board. “We are proud to confirm that we have entrusted Cogeco Connexion with this mandate and we are confident that their best in-class technology will facilitate our goal of providing 21st century learning and new ways for our students and staff to engage with educational studies, preparing our youth for the future.”
