New and improved Business High Speed Internet packages from Cogeco
Cable Canada now available in Belleville and Trenton, Ontario
Montreal, April 14, 2014 – Cogeco Cable Canada (“Cogeco”) announces the launch of
three new and improved Business High Speed Internet (HSI) packages in Belleville and
Trenton, Ontario, where the majority of businesses will be able to benefit from some of the
best business HSI packages at the most affordable prices.
These improvements are the result of the implementation of the DOCSIS 3.0 technology in
Belleville and Trenton, which is a technology of data compression that allows for more
efficient and economical use of bandwidth. Businesses will thus be able to benefit from a
faster and more reliable network, including download speeds of up to 60 Mbps.
The three new DOCSIS 3.0 technology- powered packages are the Business 28, Business
Premium and Business Ultimate packages. These offer competitive speeds at very
advantageous pricing to address every business’s specific needs. All three packages include
unlimited data transfer, easy access to static IP addresses, numerous email addresses, as well
as Cogeco’s well renowned security services optimized by F-Secure, a worldwide leader in the
field of Internet security.
Existing Cogeco Business Solutions Internet customers in Belleville and Trenton will also
benefit from these improvements. The download speed of the existing Starter package will be
increased from up to 10 to up to 16 Mbps (applicable starting April 15, 2014) and current HSI
Enterprise package customers will have their service automatically migrated to the Business
Ultimate package. These improvements will be offered at no additional cost.
