RESIGNATION OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF COGECO CABLE’S ONTARIO OPERATING UNIT

Resignation of the Vice President of
Cogeco Cable’s Ontario operating unit
Montréal, Canada. — June 22, 2007 — Mr. Louis Audet, President and CEO of Cogeco Cable
today announced the resignation of Mr. Gaston Germain, Vice President, Ontario. Mr Germain
has decided to take on the responsibility of President and Chief Operating Officer of a Canadian
programming service, effective October 15, 2007. Until then he will remain at the head of
Cogeco Cable’s Ontario operating unit.
“I wish to express my gratitude to Cogeco’s management for giving me the leeway to contribute
to the evolution of a great company and establish, for all Cogeco employees in Ontario, a solid
ground to perform,“ said Mr. Germain.
Mr. Audet pointed out the care and devotion Mr. Germain has displayed in taking the Ontario
Operating Unit to new levels of performance in the last five years. The process to identify the
appropriate successor will begin shortly.
